God's Holy Spirit Speaks

A gentle summer breeze speaks to me

the wisdom of God.

Being complete in fellowship and oneness,

living in His perfect will.

God's Spirit warns me when need be.

My sense of restraint, activated,

as the Spirit gives.

So amazingly gentle is His way and breath.

Be sensitive to detect His voice.

Quench it not, by any means.

Your spiritual life be not impaired.

Look forward, as you plow along the way.

The past, so many years ago, is gone.

Walking in the Light presents new wonders,

as God's fellowship and oneness reveals.

What do we do if we walk out of His light?

Begin calling out to Him in song of Praise.

Cast away what inhibits this closeness,

this oneness with True Life.

Be as gentle as the summer breeze.

Rustling the leaves in musical delight,

as you pass by, along the way.

Hand and hand with the lover of your soul.

The "Preying Mantis" or ...

the Mantis who prompt me to "Pray!"

When we don't expect something to jump out at us, what do we do when it does?

Something can be small in size but impact us and our lives, the lives of others, in a great way.

May our God-given Faith be as bold!

AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says,
‘T
HAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND;
A
ND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY,
A
ND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS,
A
ND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;

EVEN ON MY BONDSLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN,
I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT
AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY.

AND I WILL GRANT WONDERS IN THE SKY ABOVE
AND SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW,
BLOOD AND FIRE AND VAPOR OF SMOKE.

'THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS
AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD,
BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME.

'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.
Acts 2:7-21

Who's Ruling Your Heart?

If you had a Throne room in your heart, who do you see sitting there?

Is it yourself? Someone else? Someone you look up to? Some "thing?"

How can you know for sure, from one moment to the next?

One way to know: By the words that come out of your mouth.

The tongue.

What is your tongue stuck on?

Your tongue can tell you who or what sits on the Throne of your heart.

From the mouth comes blessings and cursing.

"And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defile the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell." James 3:6

Who can tame it?

"But the tongue can no man tame; it is a restless evil, it is full of deadly poison." James 3:8

"A wholesome tongue is a tree of life; but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit." Proverbs 15:4

What can we do then to restrain our tongue or choose a better Ruler over our heart?

Scripture compares the tongue to a rudder of a boat, or a bit in the mouth of a horse. Whoever is in charge of it is in charge of the whole boat and its direction or the whole body of a horse.

Consequently, we need to fill the Throne room chair with someone who will command and rule rightly, wisely and in the BEST interest of all. Who the heck can fill those requirements?

Why not ask the LORD to take the chair?

He's a gentleman and will do a Good job of directing your thoughts, and your life, for the BETTER!

And everyone said, "Okay! 'Bout time."
